70/30 Copper nickel threaded fittings contain 70% copper and 30% nickel, and small amount of other elements. Copper nickel union is known for the excellent resistance to various corrosion such as sea water, erosion and impingement. Its weld-ability, hardness and thermal conductivity are better than stainless steel pipe fitting.

Copper Nickel Threaded Fittings VS Stainless Steel Threaded Fittings

Copper nickel threaded fittings and stainless steel fittings both have excellent corrosion resistance, they still have many differences. The former is mainly composed of copper and nickel,the latter refers to a steel type that is resistant to weak and media corrosive such as air, steam, or water, or has rust. All stainless steel fittings have good acid resistance, but not all copper nickel fittings are good at acid corrosion resistance.
