What is NACE MR 0175 Pipe Fittings?

NACE MR 0175 is a Materials Standard issued by the National Association of Corrosion Engineers.It intended to assess the suitability of materials for oilfield equipment where sulphide (sulfide) stress corrosion cracking may be a risk in hydrogen sulphide (sour) environments. This standard specifies the types of corrosion resistant materials including stainless steels that can be used in specific oilfield environments and places limits on the hardness of the material.

2. Marking. The marking should contain product name, size, thickness, material, heat No, and standard.
3. Dimensions. The diameter, wall thickness and height of Gr WPB Conc Reducer should be measured and make sure they are in tolerance.
4. Material. The material should be qualified.
